Category:World listener functions
Newton world listeners enable your application to track specific events such as body creation and destruction, and add pre-update and post-update routines to a world simulation.
First a listener is created to a newton world using NewtonWorldAddListener, after this, the listener can be set to either of the following events:
- NewtonWorldListenerSetBodyDestroyCallback - will notify you whenever a body within a newton world is destroyed
- NewtonWorldListenerGetBodyDestroyCallback - returns pointer to function that is current body destroy callback
Newton world:
- NewtonWorldListenerSetDestroctorCallback - will notify you whenever instance of that specific world is destroyed
- NewtonWorldListenerSetPostUpdateCallback - will execute after each newtonupdate ends.
- NewtonWorldListenerSetPreUpdateCallback - will execute before each newtonupdate starts.
- NewtonWorldListenerSetDebugCallback - A universal debug callback, will be called for each body, can be used as an body iterator.
