We're having trouble with this shape being unstable:

Any advice on how to optimize this?

My guess is that the base is made of two many subshapes, and the collision system find too many, that it has to reject some, but the process is not very reliable.
Do you have a way to show the contact points?
That will show if the contact are dancing at the base.

I did change the contact discriminator from and anilitycal based on eigen values, to a more geometrical bases on convex hull on contacts because is faster.
Maybe there is a bug there, nut functions are still on there.

Please see if you can add a debug function that show the contact points.
