SOMA from Frictional Games is using Newton

It's worth mentioning that Frictional Games' new game is utilizing Newton ("nm -a" on the executable printed some Newton symbols). The game is quite amazing also.

I would guess the do list the engine on the credits as they in some comments, on their website still admit it, this is one of the reasons why it baffles me that the critics all say the physics is from:
very impressive, to realistic, to greats interaction, to impressive physics driven sounds effect, and so on, yet the never have the courtesy to mention the name of the physic engine that power the game.
The question I ask is, has the physics engine be a different name, if the reviewers would be so dismissive?

My guess is the now Nvidia or whoever owns Havok are now spending few tens of thousand of dollars sending Technical Representatives to make them change technology.
If they do not, then what usually happen is that the hardware companies muscle them out by going to their publishers and that is very hard to resist for a small developer.
What do you think this is? viewtopic.php?f=9&t=8836
is has being more than 6 months and not a word about, I did that integration in less than a week.
It stinks but it is how the Game industry operates, it is perhaps the most corrupt and monopolized industry there is.

I'm very sorry to hear about that situation. It really looks like a corruption. I wish you the good faith and fair treatment in the New Year !
