NewtonSetSolverModel documentation

Postby arkeon » Fri Sep 19, 2014 6:03 am

Does the documentation for NewtonSetSolverModel till correct ?

// *int* model - model of operation 0 = exact, 1 = adaptive, n = linear. The default is exact.
in the demoSandBox I don't see the adaptative model.

so if it is right the number of iterative passes is n - 1 ?

0 - exact
1 and up iterative
default for 3.00 and up is now 1

adaptive does no apply anymore, adaptive was a method that only apply to the exact solve where in each frame the friction values are set to the friction values of the contact of previous update.
this is now deprecated.
