I also like the tornado simulation youo have in you site, tha was very coll.

Why are the objects so stable?
In my Buoyancy simulation, everything makes extreme movements.

i'm calculating the buoyancy force and the point of action of these force with my own physics module. I'm not using the buoyancy funcionality of NGD. Only use NGD for apply the forces calculated.

Hi mlazo, very impressive work! Are there any further references to your work, such as publications, for example? I'm really interested in your buoyancy engine, so it would be nice if you could shed some more light on your algorithm, if possible.

Just incase people come by here; there's a very interesting article in Game Programming Gems part 6, chapter 2.5, on Exact Buoyancy for Polyhedra. This explains calculating the center of force, plus volume calculation of the underwater bit (though for a flat plane). The force is then easy.
