Can you please try the example and tell me your results? Make sure your graphics drivers are up to date before running:

A shader model 3 card is required.

I need to know your graphics card and operating system.

pentium quad core 2.6 ghz with gforce 280
I get between 400 and 700 fps, but I could find my way out of the tunels.

everything looks very nice, full light, volumetric smoke, soft dynamic shadows,
and the player interact with the enviroment, it is awesome.

I think the player move too slow.

Julio, you can hold shift while pressing up arrow to make it run.
In the underground I get around 300 FPS, the island gives me 120-200.
Looks very cool and polished with all the normal mapping. Core2Duo 2.66 / NV9800GT
Is that a deferred rederer?

Do you have the latest drivers (Catalyst 9.2) ? GL_ARB_draw_buffers was supported by my very old 9800 Pro, so I think it should be supported too on your card.

Yep, i was thinking about the same thing. I was playing and overclocking it, finally ending up with the old "CD-drivers", which are like 2 years old.
Will try with latest, because it's a full DX9c OpenGl 2.0 card with PS/VS 3.0(runs crisys, COD4), i thing GL_ARB_draw_buffers isn't that exotic.
As for the 9800 Pro - yep - the x1550 comes from the same branch like x1300 if I remember correctly.
