CreateConvexHull, quads only?

Hello!

I've been busy for some time, and now that I am ready to revive the physics part of my engine again, I notice that it only seems to accept quads (except collisiontrees).

What about triangles? Aren't quads totally inferior to them?

What if I have a generated mesh? Then I can't be 100% sure that all the vertices in every quad is coplanar. The only way to really do this is by using a treecollision, which is only for static objects.

Just looked up the word 'convex' and I noticed that this isn't what I need. Isn't there anyway to get a (triangle) mesh collision in Newton?

what do you mean? you can pass quads, triangles, or any kind of faces to the collision tree.
look at the demos they all pass trangles.

Maybe you mean that you want an object of arbitrary shape.
