How to find right gravity value / world scale

Postby JoeJ » Sat Oct 27, 2012 10:22 am

My character has a height of 20 units - let's assume that are 2 meters in reality.
Now I'd need a formula to calculate:
1kg in reality = how much units?
9.81 m/s^2 real gravity = how much units?

Actual i guess and find 200 a good value for gravity, but i can't guess the mass values, because they don't affect acceleration.

More important question:
Would it be better for newton to scale the world down to get smaller values?
I know most engines recommended a smallest object of 0.1 meter.
How is that with newton? Does that limitation still matter if CCD is on?
