Newton API, Tutorials and physical correctness?

Postby pwagner » Mon Jun 06, 2011 1:34 am

Hey there.

I would like to know if there is an API on the Web or if I have to generate this myself. But more important would be an overall introduction to Newton. I'm studying physics engines for a few weeks now but most often 2D engines. I found some hints about an old wiki, maybe there I can find anything interesting there, so is it still online and where can I find it?

Maybe before I really start to get involved with Newton I have another question: Have you ever done 'real' physics with it? I mean is it correct (within the bounds of floating point arithmetics) or do I have to get rid of that thought (just for games looking like physics)?

Thanks in advance.
