So I have a door Model with an animation set of matrices. I just call NewtonBodySetMatrix, but this doesn't actually simulate that move (and for obvious reasons). Is there anyway to go about this?? Basically I have a door class. The door can rotate or slide in any direction, but all I have is a matrix to define its animation at the moment.

you could try using inverse kinematics to calculate forces needed to move the mesh to desired position.

Wouldn't know where to start. Sounds like a pain in the ass. Like basically I have an animated door. So I would have to go too in-depth with applying torque around a certain point, and I just dont know Newton well enough to even try that. Plus I would have to go and get a bunch more data, not sure what I'm going to do at this point. Translation would be easy, just rotation.

If you have whole transformation matrix than just translation matrix you could easily have the object follow certain matrixes.

"have the object follow certain matrixes."
What do you mean follow. Right now I just call NewtonBodySetMatrix() for each frame of animation.
