Postby Azaratur » Wed Apr 22, 2009 4:24 am

First of all hi to all guys!
This is my first post!

I am trying to create mine controller, i like yours but i need special features.
I did a stepheight using the force but is not too accurate, do you have any suggeation?

Thank you so much!

Both the programmer from Penumbra and myself got the best results by using a static body for the controller, and calculating all the movement ourselves. I don't think the physics simulator is good for handling motion that is fundamentally unrealistic, as is a character controller.

Thanks Leadwerks.
I see well, the reason we won't use your controller is exactly because is static.
In the game we still doing is necessary that controller it will influenced from external force.
So i'll need to find another way than that.

Thanks anyway i appreciate it.

I don't know if you are using my engine, but the controller I wrote influences and is influenced by other physics bodies.

Of course i am using your engine..
But your controller not react with addforce, and this is what we need.
