serialized collision on linux and windows

Postby JernejL » Tue Mar 10, 2009 2:38 pm

Is the serialized collision same and useable on linux AND windows? say i have serialized collisions i created on windows using MSVC dll, can i load those from serialization on linux which uses GCC?

Also, can i combine collision tree inside a compound collision?

yes serializarion are cross paltform.

you can not add a tree collision to a compound collision but you can make a scenecollision which is a static collision that can take any kind of collision shapes.

So, Even if the object itself would be only used for static world i cannot mix trimeshes inside compounds?

how do i build this scenecollision?

they are different objects, the shared a common inteface.
there is a demo in the SDK that uses a scene collision.

is the one with the floating blocks, and and poligonal mesh
