Hy guys, I'm not understanding a basic math function, the 'Scale'.
- Code: Select all
m_localFrame.m_up.Scale (tire.m_posit)
I thought that the 'Scale' function was a kind of multiplication, but I'm not understanding what is the proposite of doing this.
I'll keep my studies here...
Thanks

Understood.
The .Scale is to multiply every elements of a vector by a float. Easy,
I made a basic evaluation mistake. I put in my head that the 'm_posit' variable was a dVector, while it is a float. Now everything is clear.
I'll let it here for someone else wants to understand such things.
Only a suggestion: the manager of the forum could create a section only to mathematics. I thing would be useful for the guys that wants to extract more from the engine and are Math newbies like me. What do you think?
