Torque sense

Postby JoeWright » Sun Feb 08, 2009 8:09 pm

I'm trying to recreate my code in the style of the demos so it will be easy for Julio to test a joint of mine (because its a bit wrong).

Everything's going well except that torques and calls to NewtonUserJointAddAngularRow are going in the opposite sense to my original code. Although this isn't a big deal, I'd like to track down the reason so that everything matches exactly. As far as I can see, everything does match except for this.

If I remember correctly I used CustomCorkScrew.cpp as a template.

Can anyone point me towards places to look. I'm feeling a bit dumb.

Its happening with NewtonBodyAddTorque as well (so not just a case of pin direction in the joint).

I'm guessing I've got a -1 creeping in somewhere to my original code. Maybe its how I've hocked up Newton and Irrlicht. I'll do some more investigating...
