NewtonBodyAddForce -> Offset

Postby kasimir » Tue Jan 27, 2009 11:45 am

Hi, i am completely new with Newton,
and i want to know, how can i apply forces with an offset to the models origin?

I want to write the penumbra-interaction-code by myself and the object should be moved at the clicked Position, not the center of the object!
F.e. if i click on one end of a lader the dragging-force should only work on this end! (and not on the center)

Hope this is quite easy?!

thx, but i cannnot find function called "NewtonAddForce" or "NewtonAddTorque" ???
or do you mean CrossProduct - function?!

this line: "R = Point – BodyMatrix.Position;"
is not displayed the right way! what should this mean?

Thx
