Is NewtonBodyGetOmega rotational velocity returned in local or global space? if i remember right i heard it is in global space.. is this right? i think this is important info which is missing in the wiki page.

Angular velocity has no concept of local or global space.

No this is not correct. Angular velocity can be in local and global space.
In netwon all values are in global space.
to get the local space angular velocity you do this.
-Get the angular velocity form the body
-Get the transformation matrix from the body
-Untransform (rotate by the transposed matrix) the ongular velocity by the rotation matrix of the body.
