How to model a bowling pin?
It has a irregular shape, not a cylinder, sphere, or a capsule.

create a compound collision with each convex part of the bowling pin a separate object.

I assume it cannot be shaped right, since when falling on other pins they wouldn't react properly (would collide in empty area in the pin):
