Idea of this poll is to see if the Wiki is fine with just C++ code (which its mainly full of)

I use delphi but c++ is good too.
Normaly it is not so hard to translate c++ to delphi.
The most hard is when the demo tutorial is so big it coming realy more hard. Exemple in newton you can find realy nice tutorial and source but some tutorial is very big and it coming hard to translate.

I use delphi myself, and don't find it hard to convert. But there will be ppl out there who don't know how to convert C/C++ Syntax to Delphi or whatever language they use. Which is my concern.
Basicaly imo with the current Wiki only ppl who are familure with C/C++ Syntax will be able to use everything.

I use delphi but I dont really have much difficulty translating most of the code... the function calls are generally the same thing. Although I suppose the fact that I know c++ helps me a bit, if you didnt have a decent understanding of it then it might be hard to comprehend.

A bit old topic

but you could explain a bit on how you use newton with vb6? you could put up some example VB6 demos, they can be added to newton website to attract more vb6 coders.

just make a page for it and i can add link to it on the newton website, we have a separate category for wrappers / headers for additional languages.

I'm extrapolating a bit of code from coiAxis*, in order to create an independent module for all the examples that I will create for you ... the first (almost ready) demonstrates how you play through the physics of Newton standard obj (box, sphere, cone, cylinder), as these are imprinted forces and how the figures can be reproduced on video with OpenGL. last estimated time: Monday 12 July 2010.
at work!
