Xcode 3.2.3

Postby mlfarrell » Mon Aug 23, 2010 3:43 am

Okay so I'm sure you already know but all of the build projects are outdated for Xcode 3.2. I got the demo project to compile though 60% of the demos actually crash the program :( .

Either way, great library. I'm looking forward to working with it.

Yes many demos crash, because I am in the proccess of changing the file format.
The newton libraries do work, and I am close to get a working version for all platforms.

Thank you for your reply. I believe your iphone code has enough going to get me started. All I'll really need to do is reimplement your Entity class to handle my own 3D format filters including obj and my own internal acceleration format for quick loading and rendering on the iPhone. As long as your joint stuff and hull collision is working, I should be good :-)

edit: actually I'm already stuck. Is it possible to make a ragdoll using the iPhone library? The hinge/joint tutorial has the "head" staying in place where I want it to fall freely but with the other object still attached.
