Postby JernejL » Fri Jul 03, 2009 1:40 pm

Many forum users here have a youtube channel and have produced some nice and interesting videos of things done with Newton.

In order to show how useful the new youtube forum tag is, here are some videos, feel free to post more of your work here.

Oh cool, you even got some of my videos :D

Anyways, two things:
1) can you please remove my scalable portals video (the time reversal one is fine though)? It's very old and does not reflect the current portals, and the music/etc. is overall annoying, so I don't really want it to be used as an example
2) instead, add this one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JwL-nTODl2E

looks like it's removed already, julio or someone else must have already edited the post.

why remove that one? i thought it was rather cool that portals re-scaled objects, even if the game graphics design has changed..

Well actually the whole game engine has changed, and I don't want people to get false ideas about the current state of portalized.

Maybe you should add "video" button to the top of the page (near "Home News Download Links Newton 2.0 BETA WIKI" ) ? :)

added, but you can post videos yourself, there's a new youtube tag added - see the posting toolbar, it's right to font colour button.

Valve should hire you (agi_shi) to work on Portal. Their portals * in comparison.

Hehe, I wish it was that easy  After all, Valve was restricted in their working environment, they had to implement the portals using their Source engine, which was simply not designed for this sort of thing.

Agi is so modest, he does not like to make waves saying anyything that might irritate the world of the self appointed experts, so I will say for him.
