I've released version 1.23 (it wraps version 1.23 of Newton) of my wrapper DLL for Dark Basic Pro users.
here are some screenshots of the demo programs that come with the wrapper (click for larger versions)
The wrapper allows users of Dark Basic PRO (a BASIC language for making 3D games with Direct X) to use the Newton SDK. Dark Basic does not allow classes, pointert to function, etc. So i made a wrapper DLL that allows users to still make use of this amazing physics system. Some users have already made impressive demos with the wrapper... this release is the first to include collision callbacks, joint limits + motors, and more.
feel free to visit my website for more information!

*NOTE - all of these demos are locked to a maximum of 60fps, so depending on your refresh rate, you should get somewhere between 40-60 fps.

Let me be the first to congratulate you for those excellent demos.
One suggestion: on you demo 6 you used the shift key for character jump. If you press the shift key five times in a row, windows turns on the sticky keys. Could you use a different key instead of shift?
We would like to put a couple of your demos in our download page. Is that ok with you?
Thanks

sure, I'll change it to a different key when I get home (I'm at work right now)...
if you'd like, I can make some better demos as well... these are meant to be very simple so that users can learn the syntax of the wrapper...
I'd also like to add a splash screen giving credit to the Newton SDK if it's going to be released officially.
please let me know what you think.

thanks
I think it's the first program to use Newton ragdolls with mesh-deformed models
I can't wait until the ragdoll system is updated, allowing different kinds of joints because right now the knees and elbows are pretty unrealistic... I guess they have broked arms / legs

very cool!
it would be fun if the start positions and some obstacles could be set by the user.
