Hi Folks,
I have been working on a small fun game using Newton, and its coming along quite nicely.
I am about to release a UI Alpha next week, with multilanguage support etc etc.
Anyway, if anyones interested in it, you can check it out at
http://www.nastyrash.com
Its using Skinned ragdolls, and a lot of cool stuff I have gleaned from these forums.
Unfortunatly the Development screens are pretty much all just UI, apart from Screen 2 which shows an early prototype which was using a skinned ragdoll for a cursor.
Cheers

I saw one of the texts in Japanese- very cool
I'm looking forward to playing this when it's ready.

Hi Walaber,
I am just finishing off the translation Code now.
I will be looking for people to translate languages for me, as for my testing, I am just using Google Translations.
(Its just a matter of editing a unicode text file for each language)
If anyone else wants to add any other languages, just let me know, its pretty straightforward to do.
I'm releasing Alphas in steps, 1st step will be UI Alpha next week, 2nd Step will be 1st Scenario, 3rd Step should be full release. (Still Looking about 4 months away)
Cheers

Thanks Epimetheus,
I'll add Swedish to my Base Language File and note you down as a translator, and when I release the Alpha this week, will include notes as to how to modify the language file, so you can see your changes in the Alpha.
I'll also add reference in the Credits to everyone who helps with a translation. (Which reminds me I have to add a credits pages now)
Any other languages you guys want added.
So far we have
English
French
German
Spanish
Portguese
Italian
Chinese (Simplified)
Japanese
Korean
Russian
Swedish
Languages in Bold I have translators, and I have a couple of guys who may be able to help me out with Korean & Chinese.
Cheers

if there isn't an enormous amount of translation to do, I can help with the Japanese.

Cheers Guys,
Thatd all be much appreciated.
Its not a lot of translation to do, and its pretty straight forward stuff.
I'll post a link to an Excel File tonight that you can use to make these translations, ie English in left column, your language in the right column.
BTW Most of my translations are generic game terms, like 'New Game', 'Credits', 'Settings' etc, so once I have a library of generic translated terms, I'll post them on my website for other game developers to use.
Once Again
Many Thanks

Tiny problem: I dont have office, and therefor i dont have excel and can't open the file :S
I prefere not to install office either, if there is a possible solution that does not include excel i would be really happy.

I can do french translation.
You should add a description of your fields into your XLS file, because some word or expression may have different translations.
For example :
"Exit" (verb) ---> "Sortir" or "Quitter"
"Exit" (noun) ---> "Sortie"
Some other are difficult to translate :
"bit depth" (for color) --> "Détail de Couleur"
"bit depth" (for zbuffer) --> "Détail de Profondeur"
"Windowed" --> alone, impossible to translate.
"Windowed Mode" --> "Mode Fenêtre"
