A something other application for Newton

Not a game ,another application for Newton.
I have createt a plugin that uses the Newton Engine for the physicsimulation in the 3d modelling/animation program Animation:Master from Hash,Inc..
Offcourse I've you don't have the hostapplication, you cannot play with the pluign , but at http://www.sgross.com/plugins/plugin6/sample_e.html you can see same examples (movies) simulatet with this plugin .

The funnel is very cool too, I having a great time seeing these videos.
I guess your users are going to be one-step ahead in terms of animation with realistic physics.

very very cool!! I used A:M back when it was called Playmation... it was the first 3D program I ever used.

Thanks for the flowers , some A:M users are also happy with this plugin :-)

For the troll (and similar models) , I'm using a cheat , building a compound convex hull 4 times/frame (1 frame has 60 newtonupdates, timestep 0.001) , add a mass to this compund and material , but no forcecallback , so it act's only as deflector .
Building a ragdoll where in this case not a good idea , while a model can be keyframed, have applied (overlayed) actions, muscelposes and all this mixed at the same time. So it's the easier way to cheat ...
This scene tooks around 5 minutes to simulate (150frames = 6 seconds),The plugin uses only convex hulls,compunds and treecollission (for static objects)
