ive been working on this for the last few days,
heres a video (5.89mb divx encoded)
i recently switched 3d engine (long story) and i had a car driving around within 2 hours. big thanks to sascha, julio, walaber, tomek (that was in no particular order
) for helping with my gearbox code
ive implemented:
1 point downforce
tyre camber
tyre toe
gearbox
gearbox and transmision efficiency (energy lost due to heat, sound etc)

looks pretty nice! glad to see you got the TreeCollision working.
you definately need a bigger room for the car though

Have you used tv3d 6.5 beta, or wrapped newton in 6.2 somehow ?

i used newton like you do with normal directx or opengl
i cant decide if i will buy a lisence to get 6.5

But you must have used vc6 then ? Cause I cant get TV to work with .net ?
I think the tv3d looks like a promising way to go when they are finiched with the 6.5 !

Yes it worked ! Some strange errors, and one of the tutorials not working tough. The Brass teapot is out of this world realistic ! Nice framreates too !
Someone who knows what language the v6.5 is focusing on mostly ? VB or VC ?

As far as i know you will be able to achive same results using one of the supporting languages : VB6,Delphi,BCB,VC++(probably MinGW with DevC++) via ATL/COM ,all .NET languages via managed library and VC6-VC7 via native static *.lib
But i guess the best choice is to use VC++ since your application will not need a dll and probably will run a bit faster due to absence of the COM(managed library) layer.
