Newton Ragdoll Monkey Bowling Screenshot in Develop Magazine

Postby Simon » Sat Feb 05, 2005 6:14 am

See page 26 of Develop magazine (February issue) for a screenshot of Walaber's Newton Ragdoll Monkey Bowling demo. Unfortunately there is no mention of the Newton engine; the article is regarding the Dark Game SDK. It's good to see none the less.

Congratulations to Walaber and the Newton team.

Thanks for the news. Something is better than nothing.
I guest it is inevitable that if somebody plays the demo they cannot miss the work of Walaber with both engines.
Congratulations to Walaber.

just saw this! that's pretty exciting, I'll have to get a copy of that somehow!

the funny thing is that the game was written with DBPro, not the Dark GameSDK

I've never had anything I made in a magazine... thanks to Julio and the entire Newton team for such a great system!! :D

Perhaps Develop magazine (http://www.developmag.com) would send you a complimentary copy if you explained the situation. It's Issue 47 you want.

If they won't oblige, I'll send you my copy. Just message me on this board.
