Cloth Force Callback

Postby AntonSynytsia » Tue Jul 22, 2014 5:18 pm

Juleo, it seems I can't assign force and torque callback to the cloth. No matter what gravity direction I set, its always the same; the force is added to the YAXIS. My application has ZAXIS as UP. As well, I can't change cloth origin. No matter where I want to place the deformable body, its always at 0,0,0. Am I doing something wrong, or is cloth still in its alpha state?

Also, I can't get cloth to be collidable with other bodies. I'm not asking this to be fixed, but it would be nice of a feature.

Other than that, cloth is very fast :D

And also, connecting constraints after the body is created seems to crash newton.

The cloth is still a work in progress, there was never any taker so I did not put too much effort of advancing it.
I can add more work, like eth collision and all they other missing pieces if you a are planning to use it.

Juleo, I am planning to use it. I want to use it as cloth on the mast of a ship. However, I'm not asking you to get right into it. Take your time and work on what you've planned on doing first.

Thanks
